Travel Funding for visits to Dundee Science Centre
The Science Learning Team at Dundee Science Centre- Sensation are really pleased to announce that we have some additional funds to contribute to the transport costs of school visits between August and December.
Our funding now allows this to be used for any workshop, or why not bring your nursery or P1's down to our special Early Explorer Days, and get this great offer to reduce the costs of your school trip!
To be eligible for this transport subsidy you must be a local authority school from a remote, economically and/or disadvantaged community.
Eligible local authority schools can receive transport funding to bring their school to Dundee Science Centre through kind support from the Scottish Government.
The cost of travel will be paid directly to the bus company you use provided you send us all the required information in advance of your visit. Subsidy covers only the cost of travel; admission fees are charged at our special education rates, which can be found on the Learning page of the website.
Funding is limited and will be secured on a first-come, first-serve basis.
