Primary Teacher CPD

Primary Teacher CPD To assist teachers’ continuing professional development, we are extending last year’s very popular CPD programme by delivering six primary school CPD sessions for primary teachers throughout the academic year 2009/2010.

Each session will include familiarisation with the exhibition and resources we offer, and participation in and discussion of one of the primary programme
activities. Please see below for the primary programme activities we are covering this year:

Genes in a Bottle & Inside DNA* - 17th November 2009
Healthy Body Bits- 3rd December 2010
How to be a Scientist - 21st January 2010
How to make the Perfect Poo - 16th March 2010
Solar System - 29th April 2010
Trebuchets - 25th May 2010

The sessions are booked on a first-come first-served basis.Please contact the Education Team on 01382 868609 to reserve your place now. Sessions cost £12.50 per person and run from 4.30-6.30pm.

* Inside DNA is an exhibition designed to provoke questions and stimulate debate, and will encourage you to explore topical issues.
