Meet the Scientist days
On 16th and 17th March we will be running our next Meet the Scientist event with a range of researchers from University of Dundee, University of Abertay, University of St Andrews and James Hutton Institute (previously SCRI) showcasing their research!

Magnificent Microbes 2012!
Magnificent Microbes was an extremely successful event of 2010 and we are very excited to have it returning to Dundee Science Centre in March!

Careers Speed Networking
With the season for careers fairs fast approaching the Dundee Science Centre would like to offer a fun, FREE, exciting opportunity to your school: a Careers Speed Networking event. As STEM Ambassador contract holders for the North East of Scotland we have many motivated volunteers who would love to come into schools to talk about their careers and how they got to be where they are today, and the Careers Speed Dating event is the perfect way to get a wide range of careers representatives in one room at the same time.

Early Explorers
In February's Early Explorers we'll be using our DinoDig to dig out a stegasaurus!

Solids, Liquids and Gases workshop
We are pleased to announce that we will be running our Solids, Liquids and Gases workshop from 6th – 19th February over the mid-term period for both schools and public audiences.

Travel subsidy available for school visits
Additional funds are now available to contribute to the transport costs of school visits made to centre until the end of term! This funding is limited so please get in touch ASAP if you would like to secure yours!

CPD sessions for 2011/2012
Dundee Science Centre is a great place to bring your school kids, so why not come along and explore the centre for yourselves first! Our CPD sessions give you the chance to learn some new science activities, build confidence in specific science topics, experience a workshop, see the centre and enjoy coffee and a cake while you meet some other teachers.

These fun and exciting loan boxes contain resources, materials and a teacher pack full of ideas, for you to use in the classroom for a week.

Dundee Science Centre is making life easier for those travelling on two wheels. The Centre has instigated the installation of new cycle lockers, with a total of 14 installed
